So I’ve been seeing these trees on my way to school with absolutely stunning bark. After some googling, turns out that there are multiple species of tree that exhibit this sort of spotting. I took a stab at it, but I’m not really in the zone (nor am I experienced in making tree bark), so I’m unhappy with the result.  I think I’m going to have to knock on a few doors and ask permission to paint the bark of the trees in these people’s yards, lol. I definitely need to do a few studies before I paint this for real. Once again though, anyone who reblogs one of my facecube work in progress shots gets to have something coming out of the cube just for them :)
